(More customer reviews)This variety pack, as well as the fruit version (Lower Sugar Peaches & Cream and Strawberries & Cream) are in my desk.I make a packet every morning when I get to work.It takes about 15 seconds to prepare (we have a hot water dispenser so I don't need the microwave). It's the perfect breakfast in this respect.

This stuff is great. Half the sugar of the "normal" version, but still tasty.My favorite of the three is the Apples and Cinnamon, but I don't dislike any of them.The important thing is that they taste just like I remember the "normal" variety tasting, although it's been years since I've had those. If I did a side-by-side comparison, I don't know how it would turn out.

Anyway, it's good. Get it. :)

(More customer reviews)supposed to be good for you, but I don't like the regular or real oatmeal. I like this one because it's quick, easy and tasty. The instructions tell you to add 1/2 cup of milk, but I add a little more than that, stir and pop in the microwave for 1 min and 45 seconds. It's perfect, I know it's got artificial flavors and sugar in it, but I doubt if anyone can eat oatmeal without anything in it. Even the original farmers or Vermonters add sugar or maple syrup, butter and salt to it.

For me, if I have to eat oatmeal, this is it. An added benefit is that it's also nice and hot in the winter, a perfect alternative to cereal.

I particulary love the Vanilla Almond Crunch "Cereal" which I use like granola over my fruit and yogurt. I love that it is sweetened naturally and is low in fat. If you want a traditional granola, I also really like the Peak Protein. It is great for snacking right out of the bag and since I don't eat meat, the extra protein is needed. It kind of tastes a little like an oatmeal cookie to me. I've tried all their flavors and these are the only two I like, although I will say my husband is partial to the fruit and nut. There is a flavor for everyone!

(More customer reviews)I don't know how Quaker and other US food processors can drain the flavor out of Oatmeal, yet McCann's can have so much flavor in theirs, with a firm, non-mushy texture, yet only be 130 calories per serving.The Fruit and Cream variety pack contains 4 peach (real peaches pieces - dehydrated of course) 2 blueberry, 2 strawberry and 2 banana.All the dehydrated fruit pieces plump up - and taste really good, with no chemical taste.This is my standard morning meal now for quite some time.

(More customer reviews)I first heard about steel cut oats on the Oprah show about its health benefits.First of all I DO NOT like regular oatmeal like you buy in the grocery store.I don't like the slimy texture.But I figured I'd try steel cut oats and I'm glad I did.They are delicous and very good for you!The warm nutty aroma when they are cooking is very appetizing.I add a little bit of sugar or splenda and some cinnimon, it tastes fantastic!I also sometimes skip the cinnimon and add a tablespoon of granola and/or some dried berries.Excellent healthy breakfast.

Normally these take about 30 minutes to cook on the stovetop.I found a way to cut the cooking time in half.Take 1/3 cup of oats, and 1 1/3 cup of water and put it in a large microwavable bowl.Cook in the microwave on High for 5 minutes, stir, then another 5 minutes, then stir again, and then cook about another 2-3 minutes until the texture is just the way you like it.

For those of you who are asking what the difference is between regular oatmeal and steel cut oatmeal:
-Steel-Cut Oats are whole grain groats (the inner portion of the oat kernel) which have been cut into two or three pieces using steel discs. Golden in color and resembling mini rice particles, they are as nature intended - nothing added and nothing taken out.
-Rolled oats are flake oats that have been steamed, rolled, re-steamed and toasted. Due to all of this additional processing they have lost some of their natural taste, goodness and texture.

(More customer reviews)I was so excited to get these because I thought it would be a great healthy snack to keep at my desk.I ordered these and other flavor (double chocolate chunk) and after eating a couple of each, noticed that one of the cookies had bluish green mold on it.I assumed it was a bad one in the batch.I saw on the manufacturer's website that these should be stored in the freezer since the shelf life is 90 days (due to natural ingredients and no preservatives).I immediately put them in the freezer after getting them 3 weeks earlier.The next 4 cookies I opened had that same mold on it and after I examine the rest, I found that they all were moldy.Apparently Amazon had them stored in their warehouse for a while before I rec'd them.Since there were no dates stamped on the cookies, I have no idea how long they sat in the warehouse before I got them.
I will not be ordering these again and will be wary of ordering other food products from Amazon.com.They were great about refunding my money and I will continue to purchase from amazon, just not short shelf life food items.

The Amazon reviews of this cherry are what tempted me to order.Along with the health benefits that the packaging mentions, these are really great cherries.They are large and moist but not wet.They look appealing to the eye.They are like no other dried cherry I've had.They are a little bit tart but still sweet. Very satisfying as a snack.

I've never bought other cherry products because it isn't my family's preference but these were a big hit with everyone who tried them.Even those who didn't like cherries enjoyed these.

I find them to be a nice change from the large raisins I normally buy.They make a great mix-in to hot oatmeal, trail mix, granola, oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, and scones.I set them out with nuts, fruit, and cheese for an appetizer before a family dinner.Everyone who has tried them has been pleasantly surprised.
