Of course the children eat them dry... With this it allowed for him to bring them to school 4 times and serve everyone in his class. This product was sold in boxes like any other cereal with the same ammount (14oz) but priced $3.00. Now we dependof 3rd party sellers like amazon to buy it at a high cost because Nestle only produce it in Europe (Spain to be more specific). I contacted Nestle to let them know that they are losing money on this, but they responded it was a business strategy, unfortunately for us...

I am buying it because it is my preferred cereal since I was a kid.

(More customer reviews)This cereal has just about everything: great crunch, lots of interesting "bits" (cranberries, nuts, etc.), and it's wonderfully filling.Two-thirds of a cup doesn't sound like a lot, but with this stuff and 1/2 C of skim milk, it's a decent serving.

If you're on Weight Watchers, this will fit right in: a serving with skim milk is only 4 points -- not bad for a nice filling breakfast.Add some fresh fruit, and you're set to go.

Amazon's price is quite good, too.This stuff is sky high in the supermarket if you can find it.Yes, you have to buy 5 packages, but a little goes a long way -- I have it 2-3 times a week, and I'm not getting tired of it at all.

All in all, a good value: healthy, filling, and great taste.

(More customer reviews)supposed to be good for you, but I don't like the regular or real oatmeal. I like this one because it's quick, easy and tasty. The instructions tell you to add 1/2 cup of milk, but I add a little more than that, stir and pop in the microwave for 1 min and 45 seconds. It's perfect, I know it's got artificial flavors and sugar in it, but I doubt if anyone can eat oatmeal without anything in it. Even the original farmers or Vermonters add sugar or maple syrup, butter and salt to it.

For me, if I have to eat oatmeal, this is it. An added benefit is that it's also nice and hot in the winter, a perfect alternative to cereal.

This cereal by Arrowhead Mills has the right flavor, and the right crunch!The only drawback, is that they get soggy pretty fast.I tend to put a thin layer in the bowl with a bit of milk, and eat fast.But, the flavor, the real flavor is soooo worth it!

Thank you Arrowhead Mills for giving me back a happy piece of my childhood!

(More customer reviews)We really enjoyed this cereal. It is hard to find any cereal that is not overloaded with sugar, let alone one that is gluten-free. This cereal meets both needs. It is sweetened only with fruit juice and has a crunch that lasts. Additionally, the price is great!

The only reason I don't give it five stars is because it is a little plain. That can be nice, if you like to add things like fresh or dried fruit, or if you like to use it in baking. But, if you're in a hurry or don't want to mess with "doctoring it up", it is not really flavorful. I didn't mind it, but I could see how others would find it too plain.

I particulary love the Vanilla Almond Crunch "Cereal" which I use like granola over my fruit and yogurt. I love that it is sweetened naturally and is low in fat. If you want a traditional granola, I also really like the Peak Protein. It is great for snacking right out of the bag and since I don't eat meat, the extra protein is needed. It kind of tastes a little like an oatmeal cookie to me. I've tried all their flavors and these are the only two I like, although I will say my husband is partial to the fruit and nut. There is a flavor for everyone!

I was in the organic section of a grocery store the other night, looking for low-fat granola. (I'm on a low-fat diet to help combat elevated cholesterol and triglycerides. *wince*)

I bought myself a 12 oz. packages of the Banana Nut, as well as the Bear Naked Peak Protein Granola. The latter was so-so, but the Banana Nut? YUM!

It's delicious plain, in my opinion, but you could certainly eat it with milk/soy milk as cereal, or mix in with some yogurt.

There are 11 servings per bag (about 1/4 cup) and here are some nutritional facts per 1/4 Cup:

140 calories (60 from fat)
Total Fat 7 g (10% DV)
NO Trans Fat
NO Cholesterol
5 mg sodium
