(More customer reviews)Being someone who not only works nights (where selection is limited to what you bring or delivery), but works in an environment where people like to swipe things from the lunchroom refrigerator, I'm always on the lookout for something that travels easy, can be kept at my desk & doesn't require refrigeration. Since I'm a big fan of tuna, I decided to pick these up & try them. I figured that it would at least be healthier than picking up the usual fast food lunch or can of pasta.

This was an incredibly yummy meal & it's pretty satisfying. Once in a while when I'm hungrier than usual, I'll admit that I'll get a bag of chips to supplement the meal, but I don't normally need it. The tuna is in a VERY easy to open container & is very fresh. (It doesn't turn greyish like some other tuna meals I've seen out there!) The crackers are nice & I like that they are a thinner type of cracker, but those who want their crackers to be more similar to a "Ritz" cracker will be disappointed. The peaches are really yummy, as is the cookie.

Now for what I didn't like as much. First off, the peaches come off as a little too syrupy at times. It's not anything that deterred me from eating them, but if you are someone who doesn't like a lot of sugar in their fruit cups then you might not like this. The other thing is that the cookie is a little too hard for my liking. (It still tastes fine, though.) I prefer my cookies to be ultra soft, so this part is mostly personal preference.

For what it is, it's a great alternate lunch option for people who want something healthier in their lunch boxes. It's not the lowest calorie option out there, but it is far better than if you were to get takeout.

Tang has been reformulated to include not one...but Three artificial sweeteners, two of which have not had significant peer reviewed human testing and one of which is a known cause of migraines.

I realize that companies want to make a profit by using something cheaper than sugar, but this is ridiculous.

sucralose = splenda: Splenda (sucralose) is trichlorosucrose. It contains a primary unhindered alkyl chloride that one would not be surprised to find reactive as an alkylating agent with protein pendent lysine residues and other nucleophiles (including anchimeric assistance with one anomer and the open form). One is generally ill-advised to chronically ingest halogenated organics as food.

Acesulfame potassium: Several potential problems associated with the use of acesulfame have been raised. They are based largely on animal studies since testing on humans remains limited. The findings showed the following: Acesulfame K has been shown to stimulate insulin secretion in rats in a dose-dependent fashion thereby possibly aggravating reactive hypoglycemia ("low blood sugar attacks"). Acesulfame K apparently produced lung tumors, breast tumors, rare types of tumors of other organs (such as the thymus gland), several forms of leukemia and chronic respiratory disease in several rodent studies, even when less than maximum doses were given. According to the Center for Science in the Public Interest, it was petitioned for a stay of approval by the FDA because of "significant doubt" about its safety.NeoTame: As its patent for aspartame was running out, Monsanto developed a new, more potent version of its synthetic sweetener. By adding 3-dimethylbutyl (a chemical the Environmental Protection Agency lists as hazardous) to aspartame, scientists at Monsanto drastically increased the sweetening power of the additive. The new version was named neotame. The non-profit group, Truth in Labeling, gained access to some of the neotame studies. They write, "At the time of our review of Monsanto's application, three human studies on the safety of neotame were presented. The studies had few subjects, all of whom were employees of the company. Some of the subjects reported headaches after ingesting neotame, but the researchers concluded that the headaches were not related to neotame ingestion. Not mentioned in the studies was the fact that migraine headache is, by far, the most commonly reported adverse reaction to aspartame in the files of the FDA."

Despite the crazy price they had, I ordered another cause it rocked my taste buds. I decided to make the iced tea myself from the tea bags, and it's just as good0--if not better--than the bottled version.

This has a beautiful fruity flavor, an exquisitely eye-pleasing red color, and while it's delicious hot, it totally kills over ice. I can't get enough of it.

I fortunately found it at a local Fresh Market, but if no store has it in your area, definitely order it online. So worth it. You get the benefit of green tea with the amazingly uplifting flavor and color of pomegranate.YUM!!!

(More customer reviews)I'm a salty-snack fiend. I've always liked the dry, salty strips of jerky. I'm a little odd in my tastes in that I like stuff typically dry and crunchy, so sometimes I'll even leave a bag of jerky open and leave it in my glovebox for weeks to get it just right. I am not a big fan of marinated jerky - it's usually just slimy, and you nearly rip your head off biting a piece from it and then your jaw is sore for hours from all the chewing to get the gristle-filled lube-fest masticated enough to swallow safely.

During a road trip, I stopped at a gas station and picked up some staples. I knew from experience that the other brands available at this pitstop were jerky's I was not fond of, and so I gave this one a go.

This stuff practically melts in your mouth. Marinated, but not greasy. Easy to chew, and no noticable gristle or fat globules. It's not the type of jerky I would have normally gone for, but I'm so glad I did. On the way back from my road trip, I stopped at the same gas station and bought all the packets they had.

Beef jerky has gotten so expensive over the years, you'd think they were marinating it in super-unleaded gasoline. This is one bag of beef jerky that you will not think is over-priced once you try it. If jerky were served at gourmet restaurants, this would be the brand to serve. My hat is off to Golden Island Cuisine for re-inventing the ancient art of drying meat to preserve it and making it taste good without pumping it full of MSG and formaldehyde.

BOTTOM LINE: Great drop/lollipop pack for the price with very interesting (and unforgettable) flavors.If you buy this particular box, you will have to share or give away various pouches unless you want to develop cavities.

The Pop Tarts arrived quickly and undamaged. I'm not on my fourth box and none of the pastries have been broken... and all taste great! I would describe it as a delicious mix of apple juice and grape juice with a tiny hint of sugar cane juice.It was very refreshing and should definitely be served cold.

The packaging points out that it's made in Brazil, 100% natural, and fat free.It also claims that it may help to calm upset stomaches, sooth sore throats, protect skin from eczema and acne, and fortify immune systems.The drink seems to be marketed as one of those organic, natural drinks, and the ingredients list certainly backs up that claim with no weird chemicals aside from citric acid. The ingredients are water, cashew fruit puree, organic sugar cane juice, citric acid.

It's packed full of vitamin C at 148% of your daily value.You also get 5.1% of your daily calcium, 0.8% of your vitamin A, and 2.6% of your iron.Each box contains 140 calories with 33 grams of sugars though, which is about the same as a can of coke.

Based on its flavor, I would definitely recommend this juice.I thought it was really refreshing and really enjoyed it.If you're someone who limits sugary drink intake, keep in mind that this 11oz drink is about as sugary as a 12oz can of Coca-Cola.You probably don't want to drink too many of these in one day.
