(More customer reviews)This pear vinegar is based in white wine vinegar. It is far inferior to pear vinegars which are based in balsamic vinegar. You can get the latter type at Whole Foods Market, or try Sparrow Lane, which markets a fine pear vinegar. I tried this vinegar in a salad dressing recipe I have often used, and the result was markedly inferior.
