(More customer reviews)I absolutely LOVE this dried fruit.LOVE IT.Whenever I have a craving for something sweet, I can usually rip open one of these bags and forget all about eating something bad.

I've tried every one of their choices but this bag is my favorite.The apples and apricots are nice and sweet and the peaches give a little tang.The fruit is also nice and crisp, not stale and bland.I recommend this mix highly.Kids love it too so this makes a great lunchbox snack.Also wonderful for road trips.

Whew..I'm so glad I bought this at the market to try out before I ordered 12, count em 12 bags of this snack. I purchased the larger 12 0z. size for cereal, and it took me a long time to get through it. I have tried two of the other flavors(Cinnamon Apple/Banana Nut), that I really thought were delicious and chewy, and could also be used as toppers for yogurt. This one didn't taste bad, it was just bland and boring. Nothin to write home about. It was also not chewy like the chunks in the others.

Health wise; It's a good healthy, energizing snack or breakfast. The power of protein combined with other the healthful and nutritious ingredients:
Whole Grain Oats, Toasted Soy Flakes, Honey, Expeller Pressed Canola Oil, Cranberries (Cranberries, Sugar), Soy Protein Isolate, Sunflower Seeds, Crisp Rice (Rice and Barley Malt), Whole Grain Flax Meal, Cinnamon, Natural Flavor. It's low in fat and sugar, and has no cholesterol. It has 5 grms. of protein per serving. And "Bear Naked" says the company's ingredients are all-natural and barely processed. For full nutritional values, there is a link on the product detail page.

Maybe you could even doctor it with some fresh fruit for a little added flavor to your cereal. But I couldn't recommend to buy 12 bags of it. Too bad they don't have a multi-pack in either the 12 oz. bags, or the 2 0z snack bags, so that you can sample each flavor for yourself. Like the other flavors, after you get through the chunk parts, you are left with crumb size bits, but won't go to waste if you sprinkle on yogurt.

Other pluses for the product are that they come in ziploc bags, are a good price compared to the grocery store, and are convenient to throw in your briefcase or gym bag. I would though, recommend, one of the other flavors that are really good.

(More customer reviews)Like the previous reviewer, I also purchased these snack bars because they don't contain the usual bugaboos: high-fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated oils, artificial sweeteners, etc. However, they're mighty hard to chew. And that's *probably* a good thing.

I'm a hardcore fan of Quaker Oats granola bars, because they're a quick snack and they're heavy-laden with sugar, but they also have the HFCS (bad, bad) and hydrogenated oils (bad, bad, BAD). However, they are easy to chew. I am striving to slowly back away from the QO granola bars because of their unhealthy and lengthy ingredient list.

The Kashi brand snacks are agreeable to the palate and they do have enough sugar for my personal tastes, but I have a couple crowns and I wonder if my over-priced prosthetic teeth can survive this healthy eating experience.

That being said, these are the snacks of choice for long car trips. For one, I'll never pig out on them and two, they're good for the tummy. They provide a little energy boost and they're high octane fuel for this four-layer bio-suit we call a human body.

(More customer reviews)I bought these at the grocery store last week along with the Annie's Cheddar Bunnies.They're both great.The whole wheat bunnies are healthy without having that overwhelming "wheaty" taste some people aren't so fond of.You won't think you're eating a plain goldfish, but my 8, 5, and 1 year old gobble them up and THEY are tough customers.They have 3g of fiber per serving and with being whole wheat I feel like they're good enough to count as part of my toddler's meal.

(More customer reviews)These are the best berries I've ever tasted!I thought for sure they were sweetened, but they're not.The berries they used must have been perfectly ripe and the flavor just blasts your mouth when you try them.Additionally, the slices are whole, with very little breakage in the can.The value you get is pretty great, considering that 8oz of berries is approximately equivalent to 5# of fresh strawberries.At $3/lb (+ shipping) that's really not bad, and you can have these year-round, even when strawberries aren't in season.

(More customer reviews)I have a similar product that I purchased at Wal-Mart for less than $5 for 19.25 oz., so this price is way too high.The product currently comes with 20% free, so it probably is usually available in a 16 oz. size.The product that I purchased is called Ann's House "Good Health Energy", but it appears to be a similar mix of soynuts, cranberries, almonds and pumpkin kernels.A 1/4 serving provides 8 grams of fat, 6 grams of sugar, 3 grams of fiber and 7 grams of protein.There are other mixes available including Macadamia Perfection, Cranberry Nut Antioxidant, Chocolate Nut Antioxidant, Creamy Strawberry Almond and Pistachio Perfection.I did not see all of these at the store.The product is very high quality and Ann's House has been in business since 1973.

(More customer reviews)I really like these.They're intensely sweet and have a great 'al dente' texture, and because they're full of potassium and vitamin A, they're totally guiltess, unlike the bag of Swedish Fish I ate yesterday.

One caution: because these are unsulfured, they won't look uniformly orange and pretty.They're brown with blotches of orange, and that's how they're supposed to look

(More customer reviews)While I appreciate the concept greatly, the execution needs work; this is the only flavor I've had, and they remind me wildly of cough syrup every time I use them. Granted, I AM an adult, and no longer have childish taste buds, but I wanted essence of strawberry, not essence of vicks in these. They're juicy and beautiful as far as raisins go, and if I soak them first to remove the excess off-flavors, they're good in oatmeal. I wouldn't buy then again, however. Too much effort to make them edible.
