(More customer reviews)This is wonderfully unique flavored soda although a bit pricey.Just the right balance of sweet and tart along with a bit of fizz makes for a great flavor treat.We bought a case and it took us through the holidays, everyone really enjoyed them (children & adults included).I would certainly keep some around the house during holidays and special occasions, but it's too expensive to replace our usual beverage of choice.

Some competitors had as little as 5% cranberry juice though the label said "Cranberry Juice." (...) Believe it or not, I could not find this information at the Ocean Spray website. This matter of 27% may seem a trivial matter, but it is the amount of cranberry juice that has been used and suggested in medical studies that have found cranberry juice medicinally effective against urinary tract ailments.

Like the other Ocean Spray Cranberry combo juice [not drink]products, this 27% product is still 100% juice and contains white grape and apple juices as a blend. All in all, this is the best medicinally, and packs quite a large dose of antioxidants [flavonoids, not just vitamin C]. However, only this variety contains the 27% of cranberry juice. The other blends do not.

The next time you are shopping look specifically for "Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice, From Concentrate 100% Juice" if you are seeking the medicinal benefits of cranberry juice. By the way, it tastes pretty good too.

Since first tasting Martinelli's sparkling apple cider at a New Year's celebration over a decade ago, I've been a huge fan of carbonated apple drinks, but none have been "just right."Naturally, I've tasted the types that I've come across over the years, including: Martinelli's sparking cider (which is kind of sweet tasting and not generally bottled for everyday consumption), Martinelli's sparkling apple juice (a bit under-carbonated), Apple Beer (non-alcoholic, good but has a slightly odd taste), Appletiser (UK only, good, but UK only), and a few other local organic brands.

All of the aforementioned beverages are good on occasion, but seriously... none compare to essn's Sparkling Fuji Apple Juice.Yeah, it is a little pricey, but its worth it!

These are on the sweet side, but also good solid lemon flavor. They are not as sharp as San Pelligrino's Limonata. But they nowhere near as sweet as Sierra Mist or Mountain Dew.

I really love this product.

(More customer reviews)Yes, it's apple juice concentrate and filtered water, but is that bad? I agree it's a bit misleading to say 100% juice because it tends to make you think it's all real juice...but it is real juice. Real juice is mostly water. This is juice concentrated (water removed) and then clean water added back. It is far better than the garbage on the market that has high fructose corn syrup and other stuff.

The problem is how Amazon packages this stuff. They shrinkwrap the boxes so tight that at least 1/4 to 1/3 of the pouches explode and you get a sticky mess!

On Campbell's website which includes V8 products [which they also produce] I found the following info about "Campbell's Low Sodium Tomato Juice";
"Campbell's Tomato Juice is packed with goodness. Each 8 oz. serving of Campbell's Tomato Juice contains:
full serving of vegetables
only 50 calories
Vitamin A
Vitamin C
20 mg of the antioxidant Lycopene"

Most importantly, this "low-sodium" variety has only 140 mg. sodium and 920 mg. potassium compared to 680 mg. sodium and 430 mg. potassium in the standard tomato juice product!

WHY SHOULD YOU WANT IT?

If you are looking for taste, nutrition and low carbs/calories, this beverage is for you. Add to that, low sodium in this particular variation, and you have a drink we should all be drinking. I was always a bit reluctant to indulge in this yummy tomato-fest because of the huge amount of added sodium, but now the low-sodium product has become much more available and costs only 30% more than the original high-sodium version. Typically, this low-sodium, mixed 100% tomato juice is the type of drink that sells for $2-4 at a juice bar per 8-ounce serving or about $8-$10 per quart from a health food store in bottles.

Campbell's website (...)has nutrition info on all their products and each of the 4 tomato juices individually. However, the only difference on the label of each variety of tomato juice was in the amount of sodium it contained. Obviously, their are other differences, but label standardization eradicates their ability to illustrate it to us.

It may take time to get use to tomato juice without salt, but one can taste the tomato in the juice for a change in this product.

(More customer reviews)I'm grateful to Lakewood for their Noni Juice. But I'm mystified as to why the change in serving size. First, let me tell you why I like the product.

In the fall of last year I was, inadvertently, causing heart palpitations due to the fact that I was doing shoulder stands as part of my Yoga routine. I stopped the shoulder stands, and my heart returned to normal in about a week. But I was rundown and tired from two months of heart palpitations. So I picked up a bottle of Noni. I took the recommended serving, 1 tsp. per day. I felt nothing for two weeks. And then the Noni kicked in. I felt noticeably better every single day. Today (and for months now) I feel great. Now, here's where things get interesting.

The bottle I bought six months ago says Serving Size is 1 tsp. (5 mL); Servings Per Container is listed as 190. Obviously, shelling out $25 every six months or so is no big deal for most of us.

Now, if you look at the label on the newer shipment of Noni, you'll see a change in the Serving Size - 2 fl oz (4 TBSP); Servings Per Container 16.

Yikes! Twenty-five dollars for a 16-day supply.

So I contacted thecompany on June 9 with my question - why the change in serving size?

I'm still waiting for a reply.

(More customer reviews)I've only recently learned about the benefits of the mangosteen fruit, so I can't tell you whether all of the claims about it are true or not. My son is convinced that it cures his headaches and it seems to have helped my daughter's seasonal allergies. I CAN tell you that this brand of mangosteen juice tastes really good compared to Xango (although Xango is good too) and it is much cheaper. Still, I will have to use it for a longer period of time to know if it helps with other ailments, such as arthritis.

I appreciate that the product tell what percentage of mangosteen it actually contains (50%). I've tried to find out the percentage in Xango, but have been unable to do so.

Bottom line? If you are worried about using aspirin, acetaminophen, or ibuprofen, for your aches and pains, this may be a healthy alternative. A lot more expensive, mind you, but without the stomach irritation of some of the otc medicines.

(More customer reviews)This is the second flavor from Izze I have tried.The first was the Clementine.Tasty and not syrupy I really enjoyed the flavor.I tried the Blackberry.Unlike the Clementine flavor the name of the drink also makes up one of the juices used to make the beverage, blackberry.Like the Clementine a cocktail of juices from concentrate are added like Apple Juice and Lemon Juice to give a balanced flavor.

This is not a drink to hydrate in quantity so much as a tasty pick me up.The drink does not have caffeine or added sugars so I don't feel bad about drinking it.It isn't overly sweet so it adds a bit of energy rather then making me tired.

90 calories for just over 8 ounces is starting to get up there for me.That is enough calories that I at least have to think about when I drink the beverage.A great drink, a good company and thumbs up in my book.The only issue I had is the calories.
