This product was sold in boxes like any other cereal with the same ammount (14oz) but priced $3.00. Now we dependof 3rd party sellers like amazon to buy it at a high cost because Nestle only produce it in Europe (Spain to be more specific). I contacted Nestle to let them know that they are losing money on this, but they responded it was a business strategy, unfortunately for us...

I am buying it because it is my preferred cereal since I was a kid.

(More customer reviews)I have been feeding this to my twin girls since they were five months old.They are now 14 months and they still like it.The smell and taste just does not compare to jarred food.Plus, I love the fact that a smidgen of fresh seasonings are added - good for baby's belly and taste buds.I am convinced part of the reason that my girls love fresh foods now is because they learned early how good it can taste.

I have given Happy Baby frozen baby food a try too - a few of their combinations are all right.But I prefer the flexibility of the single flavors.For breakfast, I add the fruits to my girls' yo-baby.For dinner, I add plain yogurt to the peas, vanilla yogurt to the sweet potatoes, etc.I also add the sweet potatoes to mac and cheese I make for my girls - it tastes SO good.Even though my girls have moved on to finger foods, I still order Jack's Harvest because it is so convenient to add a cube (heart-shaped, I love that too!) to other foods and slide in some extra nutrition.

(More customer reviews)This was the first solid food I fed my then 4-month old baby and from the first time, he loved it. I initially mixed it with breast milk (1 tsp cereal and 4 tsp of breast milk for the first feeding, then less liquid to make it less messy to feed) but now, I mix it with some hot water or other food (vegetable or fruit purees).Whenever I introduce a new vegetable that I suspect my son might not like right away, I mix 1 tbsp or more of rice cereal and it usually works like a charm. Zucchini puree by itself = spit up.Zucchini puree mixed in with HappyBellies rice cereal = happy baby.
Granted that I haven't tried other brands, except for the Gerber Barley cereal, the line of HappyBellies cereals has been fantastic for us.My son loves it and he's never had any stomach problems since he's on it.
The empty containers can be recycled, or used as toys for your baby. I usually but a few (unbreakable) items inside.My son loves shaking it and playing drums on it.

I also love the convenience of Amazon shopping, especially since this brand can be sometime hard to find in stores.

We've bought several different fruit pouches at a local organic store and she and I loved these the most. It it not overly sweet (and a strawberry variation as well), tastes really good. She can easily eat 2 of these every day.
I really like the fact that it has no sugar and color added + it is organic. Just fruit puree.

I, personally, don't like banana variation, but it's just because of my own personal preferences (i like fresh bananas more than cooked), other than that, my daughter approved all of flavors to 10 stars.

(More customer reviews)Be sure you understand they are asking you to give them about $40 for only **7** squeezies. That makes them nearly $6 each!!!! For fruit sauce??? There are SEVERAL other brands which offer the same thing--pureed fruits and vegetables in soft squeezy packages that can be sucked out by toddlers in carseats--and they are selling for around $35 for ***24***packages of squeezies. See that difference? The stuff tastes just as good, I've tried them. In fact, the broccoli one of Ella's is disgusting, in my opinion. I like the brand that starts with a "P", second word Organics. Not the bunny. These get one star for pricing. The star is given because the product is nice, but 4 stars are taken away because of the complete highway robbery of offering these in a pack of only 7 for $39.95. Don't encourage them.

(More customer reviews)Our baby really loves to eat these and they come in glass, Great! But we discontinued using them after I found a web posting that the manufacturer uses lids that contain BPA! I emailed their customer service department (10/2010) and the company confirmed that BPA is used in the lids. This smacks of the worst kind of marketing, taking advantage of the organic label and the potential health benefits but selling it in inferior packaging, legal yes, but not really in the spirit of the organic movement. For Pete's sake the lid itself has the word "organic" written on it 6 times! We stopped using all the companies products including the dry oatmeal and rice because we personally found it such a dishonest practice (he loved those too unfortunately) so in summary good food, bad implementation.

We like that they are pure fruit and organic. Our son thinks they taste good and likes to suck on them. The novelty is nice. I wouldn't buy them to eat all the time because of the cost, but when you are in a hurry or on the run, they are super-helpful.

(More customer reviews)I actually usually use the Plum Organics baby food brand, b/c those have veggies in them.But these ones are great too.My 12 month old just sucks the food out through the top, and doesn't spill any.He actually eats about 3 ounces of food, while walking around the house, in about 3 minutes.Ok, not the safest while walking, but when you are rushing out the door to play, or work, and baby hasn't eaten, it saves you about 20 minutes, and he loves it. He feels like such a big boy feeding himself, and I am happy too, he's eating a healthy breakfast.If the sold the plum organics ones on here in bulk like this I'd be all over them.
These ones are actually meant for any age, just like apple sauce in a pouch, so my toddler can eat them too.Yes!!!!!

(More customer reviews)So I bought these when my baby was 7 or 8 months old thinking that these would be a great starter snack food and an alternative to Cheerios (which I hadn't yet given to my baby). These are not a melt in your mouth type of early baby snack. My little on is now almost 10mos with two teath and now better prepared for these hard/crunchy snacks. The flavor is tasty and I love the idea that they're organic, just best for older ones, not reccomended as a first snack.
