Familia Swiss Crunch Museli, Multigrain Cereal, 11-Ounce Bags (Pack of 6) Review

This cereal has just about everything: great crunch, lots of interesting "bits" (cranberries, nuts, etc.), and it's wonderfully filling.Two-thirds of a cup doesn't sound like a lot, but with this stuff and 1/2 C of skim milk, it's a decent serving.

If you're on Weight Watchers, this will fit right in: a serving with skim milk is only 4 points -- not bad for a nice filling breakfast.Add some fresh fruit, and you're set to go.

Amazon's price is quite good, too. This stuff is sky high in the supermarket if you can find it.Yes, you have to buy 5 packages, but a little goes a long way -- I have it 2-3 times a week, and I'm not getting tired of it at all.

All in all, a good value: healthy, filling, and great taste.

I've been buying Nature's Path gluten free foods for a number of years, and have been fully satisfied.I've had access to somewhat lower prices than what traditional grocery stores put on their products, but am delighted that Amazon's price is virtually identical to the prices offered by the discount organic foods market we've purchased these from in the past.I doubt you'll find Nature's Path products any lower anywhere else, particularly when you consider no sales tax and free shipping if the order is large enough. Also, I contacted Nature's Path once with a question about one of their products (the Mesa Sunrise flakes).Customer service is excellent and very friendly (much nicer than we typically get "down here" in the States - they're a Canadian company up in B.C.).If this sounds like a commercial, it's not intended to be - I just have been entirely satisfied with Nature's Path foods for years and have no complaints at all. When a company does a good job, they deserve referrals - everybody wins.

This is a great product that tastes good and is really good for you as well. It may cost a little bit more than Kellogg's Corn Flakes but it contains no artificial ingredients or preservatives while Kellogg's puts BHT in many of their products as a preservative. Many people don't realize what BHT is, or phenylalanine (the artificial sugar in diet soda) for that matter.

BHT- Butylated hydroxytoluene, is a lipophilic (fat-soluble) organic compound that is primarily used as an antioxidant food additive (E number E321) as well as in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, jet fuels, rubber, petroleum products, and embalming fluid.

This substance has been linked with cancer and increased hyperactivity in children.

These are slightly thicker than regular gluten cornflakes, but still tasty. Don't expect them to be sweet...like frosted flakes. They are just plain. Very good though...and great in recipes.
