(More customer reviews)Yes, it's apple juice concentrate and filtered water, but is that bad? I agree it's a bit misleading to say 100% juice because it tends to make you think it's all real juice...but it is real juice. Real juice is mostly water. This is juice concentrated (water removed) and then clean water added back. It is far better than the garbage on the market that has high fructose corn syrup and other stuff.

The problem is how Amazon packages this stuff. They shrinkwrap the boxes so tight that at least 1/4 to 1/3 of the pouches explode and you get a sticky mess!

But, instead I got...

(More customer reviews)Our baby really loves to eat these and they come in glass, Great! But we discontinued using them after I found a web posting that the manufacturer uses lids that contain BPA! I emailed their customer service department (10/2010) and the company confirmed that BPA is used in the lids. This smacks of the worst kind of marketing, taking advantage of the organic label and the potential health benefits but selling it in inferior packaging, legal yes, but not really in the spirit of the organic movement. For Pete's sake the lid itself has the word "organic" written on it 6 times! We stopped using all the companies products including the dry oatmeal and rice because we personally found it such a dishonest practice (he loved those too unfortunately) so in summary good food, bad implementation.

(More customer reviews)So I bought these when my baby was 7 or 8 months old thinking that these would be a great starter snack food and an alternative to Cheerios (which I hadn't yet given to my baby). These are not a melt in your mouth type of early baby snack. My little on is now almost 10mos with two teath and now better prepared for these hard/crunchy snacks. The flavor is tasty and I love the idea that they're organic, just best for older ones, not reccomended as a first snack.

(More customer reviews)Love Earth's Best baby foods and this was great to start with a variety of foods. Only complaint is some of the fruits have Vit. C added as a perservative and makes a little on the tart side but I still prefer this over artificial preservatives and/or added sugars.
Ordering from Amazon.com is WAY cheaper per jar of food than our local stores.They were also great at quickly replacing some food that had been poorly packed and broke during shipment.
I still use this size jar of foods for traveling.
