(More customer reviews)We have been trying all sorts of flavors of Earth's Best and really, it's going to depend on what your baby likes and doesn't, so I hadn't planned on writing a review of them, except that this flavor got one star because some 65-year-old person complained it tastes like baby food!Well, duh, it's not made or meant for older people with stomach issues, it's for babies.Earth's Best is a good line of Organic baby foods and for what's it's worth, our baby likes the flavor.It tastes kind of like spaghetti sauce.

(More customer reviews)I love all the baby food my baby eats but this tasted horrible.I think the ascorbic acid in the bananas makes it taste funny.It's a little bit bitter and doesn't really taste like a fresh mushed up banana.I'm going to try giving him fresh banana instead.Don't stock up until you know they love the taste.

The food that was shipped expires in two months! Since it was a good price, I thought I would stock up. If I knew this, I would not have purchased it! The baby food that i purchased last week at our local Whole Foods Market expires in two years.

Now i'm stuck with 48 jars of pears that will expire in two months.

(More customer reviews)Our baby really loves to eat these and they come in glass, Great! But we discontinued using them after I found a web posting that the manufacturer uses lids that contain BPA! I emailed their customer service department (10/2010) and the company confirmed that BPA is used in the lids. This smacks of the worst kind of marketing, taking advantage of the organic label and the potential health benefits but selling it in inferior packaging, legal yes, but not really in the spirit of the organic movement. For Pete's sake the lid itself has the word "organic" written on it 6 times! We stopped using all the companies products including the dry oatmeal and rice because we personally found it such a dishonest practice (he loved those too unfortunately) so in summary good food, bad implementation.

(More customer reviews)My nine month old LOVES this baby food!!! She devours the entire jar every time it's offered to her! With other foods I'm lucky if she finishes half a jar. This past week she wasn't feeling very well and had little appetite. She would drink a little bit of formula and her juice but turned her nose at any type of food that was offered to her. Seeing as this is her favorite I thought she would eat a little bit if I offered it to her but she ate the entire jar in one sitting! I'm very impressed with Earth's Best as well as Amazon customer service. One package of baby food that I ordered arrived with a broken jar and all it took was an email to Amazon and my money was refunded! Another food my daugher really enjoys is the Sweet Potato Cinnamon. She loves sweet potatoes and I like that she's getting the added benefits from the cinnamon. I will continue to purchase Earth's Best, especially pears and raspberries, from Amazon!

(More customer reviews)Love Earth's Best baby foods and this was great to start with a variety of foods. Only complaint is some of the fruits have Vit. C added as a perservative and makes a little on the tart side but I still prefer this over artificial preservatives and/or added sugars.
Ordering from Amazon.com is WAY cheaper per jar of food than our local stores.They were also great at quickly replacing some food that had been poorly packed and broke during shipment.
I still use this size jar of foods for traveling.
