(More customer reviews)I was lucky enough to have a grandmother who had traveled the world and had certain foods that she went great lengths to get at home. This marmalade was one of them. Some grocers carry them now, but it was hard to find at one time. Made in the United Kingdom, it is a marmalade for purists. No preservatives or artificial sweeteners here, they still use the ancient recipe. For real authentic marmalade that is so good you will not be able to eat the cheap stuff again, try this. (More customer reviews)My family loves this marmalade and it is hard to find in stores, even ones that carry other Bonne Maman products. It is not the sweet mush that could be jam of any flavor.It tastes like orange and actually has plenty of orange zest/rind in it.Very flavorful.I was thrilled to see it on Amazon.The price was hardly more than in the stores including shipping.It was carefully packed with each jar surrounded by bubble wrap and whipped promptly.As I buy more and more items on the internet (probably 40% of my purchases) I am thrilled to find I can get the special foods we love.

(More customer reviews)I liked Bonne Maman Raspberry Preserves. They are very good and for once the prduct tastes as advertized. A nice inclusion of some whole raspberries and a wonderful preserve to have on toast, or what it does, makes me feel like making a nice trifle. To me it would be better without the pitts, but then it would not be a preserve and would lose its great flavor in the process. Great for everyday, or a real treat in a dessert, good on the top of some vanilla ice cream.Lila Hamilton

(More customer reviews)I buy most of my groceries from a discount-outlet store.I can always find some good and cheap jam/jellies there.

But this is a step up.The blueberries in here are real.It takes me back 40 years to when I ate wild blueberries off the bushes in Maine.
The mixture is sweet, but the blueberry taste comes through.Its not like flavored sugar.

There is no better review I can give than to say I'm willing to pay the price for these preserves.There are rather few products I can say that about.

As another reviewer of a related product says, this and some natural peanut butter make for a great sandwich.

As an experienced giant warehouse store shopper, I'm buying more while they have it.The product I bought 6/08 is "good" until 3/10, but being preserves would last even longer -- but it's not long for this world anyways, since it's so good.

Highly recommend.No artificial anything and large chunks of quality fruit.

This delectable spread is a favorite in France. Made by cooking the chestnuts with sugar and vanilla, it is excellent on toast. And because of its thick and smooth texture, it also goes well with ice cream or yogurt.
Some use it in place of chestnut puree to make a Mont Blanc (French dessert made of pureed chestnuts and whipped cream, often on a meringue base). Of course, you may also find yourself eating it straight from the jar!
Once widespread in France, chestnut trees, or chataigniers, are now becoming scarce as land has been given over to more profitable crops like grapes. Today the number of regions producing chestnuts has dwindled - Ardeche, Corsica, and Limousin are now the principal producers of chestnuts.
