While eating I couldn't decide if it tasted like oatmeal cookie dough or macaroon with a definite zing of orange flavor.The bars are very soft and if I could have I would have taken a half star off for being a little too sweet.Otherwise if you like oats and coconut you will probably like this bar.I would say kids would definitly like them.

(More customer reviews)I was first turned on to these wonderful candies when I found them on clearance in a supermarket. After trying them and finding out just how wonderful they are, I went back and bought all the rest. With a 66% fruit content and everything else being acceptable i deemed them my new source of snacking sugars. (i have quite a sweet tooth)
They aren't too chewy where they stick in your teeth and they are dry enough on the outside (the flavorless Carnauba wax coating) where they don't get messy to handle, even on hot humid days.
So if you are reading this to see if it's something you would like to try..
add them to your Cart. They are Delish!...before i buy them all up.

(More customer reviews)OK. I admit it. I'm one of the few crazy folks that really like fruitcake. I always have from the first piece I ever tried at our church's fruitcake make/bake/sale (they're fun to make, too. Especially in large quantities!). I like them dark, light, medium as long as they're on my plate. But I have to admit, I like the cake part to be a bit moist, not dry and grainy like these (remind me of Scottish fruit bread, actually. The taste is very good, the candied fruit and large pecans are tasty too. But the cake is dry...
I also bought one for my Father-in-Law... we'll see how he rates it.
