(More customer reviews)The deep purple/red color and hibiscus fragrance is enough to make anyone passionate about tea. Yet, is this really tea? It looks like tea, but it is really an herbal infusion made by steeping hibiscus flowers, orange peel, licorice, cinnamon, rose hips, lemongrass and red poppy in a swirling of hot water.

The flavor is slightly reminiscent of hot apple cider or hot cranberry juice. This tea leaves a tingle on your tongue and I think it goes very well with a spoonful of honey.

I do think you need two tea bags for each cup of tea to fully intoxicate the senses and experience the magic of the ingredients.

Caffeine Free. You can drink this as you type into the night...

(More customer reviews)I have never had black tea this good before.I love lychee fruit and wanted some black tea for the caffeine content.Problem is I do not like the taste of black tea.This tea is different it is not bitter.It is smooth in taste.I do not add sugar to my teas so they have to stand on their own.This one does.That is why I purchase teas with flavors in them.This may seem expensive, but realize this is 100 bags of tea and comes in a huge box.If you look a regular tea it is a much smaller box.This looks over three times the size.Great tea try it for your caffenated tea.It is wonderful tea.This beats out earl gray or english breakfast tea in taste.This tea is a pleasure to drink.I just wanted to get some caffeine in a tolerable way with no artificial sweeteners or regular sugars.This is it.In the highly sweetened american culture there is a way out drink this tea from china.It is calorie free with no artifical sweeteners. I am not asian, but I love asian products.

(More customer reviews)We really enjoy Stash teas and saw the sampler as an excellent way to try new flavors, most of which are not available in any of our local stores.We enjoyed most of the flavors - and have found a new favorite, blueberry.The aroma and flavor is just like fresh blueberries!The flavor intensity varies greatly between flavors, which can be a good way to find a flavor to suit your mood.The ginger, however, was just too strong and burned my taste buds.I also enjoy Bigelow teas and would agree with another reviewer that some of the Stash flavors (little under half) are mild in comparison.However, there are times when a gentle chamomile is just what I need.I probably won't purchase another variety pack, but will purchase our new favorite flavors separately.I recommend this to anybody looking to experiment with new flavors; Stash has some wonderfully original tastes.

(More customer reviews)I drank Lipton's regular black tea for years before all these gourmet tea happened and looks like Lipton's has finally come to the gourmet tea party.

I bought this mainly to see how the pyramid tea bags performed, and they performed great. The problem with flat tea bags is that it's difficult for the tea leaves to infuse freely due to the constraints of the shape, but these pyramid bags work great! Only problem is that each pyramid is not individually wrapped, therefore you must put them in a tight container to prevent leakage of flavor or drink all 20 bags quickly.

As to the tea, it's advertised mainly as Bavarian wild berry flavor, and there is a lot of that, but actually you can taste a lot of hips flavor as well. Not surprising since the ingredients also contain rosehips, chicory root, cinnamon bark and licorice root. Just to let you know that it's not all berry flavor.

All in all, I like this a lot and would buy it again.

Grown in South Africa's Cederburg Mountains and harvested during the summer, this tea acquires its unique red color as a result of fermentation (in mounds) and oxidization, when it is spread out to dry in the sunlight; naturally it is green.

Rooibos is known for its health benefits stemming from its rich content in vitamins, antioxidants, flavanoids and minerals (inter alia, magnesium, calcium, iron, copper, zinc, potassium, fluoride, manganese and alpha-hydroxy) and has a long tradition of medicinal use among the local Native population; among other things, it is known to help cure asthma, hay fever and other allergies, acne, eczema, colics, indigestion, insomnia, and nervous tension. Containing very few tannins and no caffeine, rooibos has a distinctive aroma and amber color.

This tea blends well with various spices and condiments; my favorite mixture is a delicious loose leaf blend sold by my local tea store, which features orange peel, cinnamon, grated coconut, finely minced chili and red pepper. For a more commercial alternative, though, Tazo's Red Bush tea is a great choice as well: a rich, exquisite blend of rooibos, hibiscus, orange peel, rosemary, several lemon ingredients (lemon myrtle, verbena and balm), as well as a number of sweet spices. (More customer reviews)I first tasted this tea at a very expensive buffet in Hawaii.I enjoyed it so much I asked the waiter about it and he gave me several bags to take with me.I'm not too picky about my tea, as I feel even the cheap lipton stuff is fine for day to day hot or cold tea drinking, if used properly.I've tried dozens of different types of tea as I've been drinking both hot and cold tea all my life.This tea gives off a sweet smell and has a taste similar to some chinese "flower" teas.The nearest I can come to describing the flavor is if you've had a Kerns Guava, imagine a much more mild (not as sweet) version of that flavor in a tea.This is by far the best tea I've ever had.If you enjoy flavored tea, if you appreciate the difference between Earl Grey and cheap Lipton tea then you'll enjoy this tea also.
