(More customer reviews)I came across this in a grocery store last winter, brewed one hot cup, and put it back into the pantry only because I felt too guilty after spending money on it to throw it away. I was surprised that the flavor actually had a sourness to it. I found the tang of the tea very off-putting in a warm format. Why then, did I give the product a 5-star rating? This summer I started drinking iced tea and found that green tea with jasmine made a great cold cup, so I decided to give this a whirl. Delicious and refreshing!! I brew 6 bags in 8 cups of water with 1/2 cup of sugar melted in. The tang, when chilled, gives the tea a nice fruitiness. I will definitely buy this again.

(More customer reviews)We really enjoy Stash teas and saw the sampler as an excellent way to try new flavors, most of which are not available in any of our local stores.We enjoyed most of the flavors - and have found a new favorite, blueberry.The aroma and flavor is just like fresh blueberries!The flavor intensity varies greatly between flavors, which can be a good way to find a flavor to suit your mood.The ginger, however, was just too strong and burned my taste buds.I also enjoy Bigelow teas and would agree with another reviewer that some of the Stash flavors (little under half) are mild in comparison.However, there are times when a gentle chamomile is just what I need.I probably won't purchase another variety pack, but will purchase our new favorite flavors separately.I recommend this to anybody looking to experiment with new flavors; Stash has some wonderfully original tastes.

This Cranberry Weightless tea is lovely, and has a marvelous taste. It seems to work as a diuretic, which isn't a bad thing, since it does so by promoting urological health. It probably does contribute to "Weightless" (weighing less) but only by ridding your body of excess water; still, if it can do this in a healthy way, I'm all for it. I like drinking it as a calming ritual before meals, which for me has some value, too. It seems to work for me; even more importantly, I enjoy it.

The ingredients in Traditional Medicinal's Weightless Cranberry are: bitter fennel fruit 150 mg, red clover blossom 150 mg, uva ursi leaf 135 mg, cranberry fruit concentrate 60 mg, cleavers herb 52.5 mg., as well as a proprietary blend of: organic hibiscus flower, organic roasted chicory root, organic parsley leaf, and organic stevia leaf.

Weightless Cranberry is part of a line by Traditional Medicinals that includes the original Weightless and a Weightless Cinnamon-Spice.

Traditional Medicinals seems to be a responsible company. They adhere to sustainable and fair trade practices, use organic ingredients when feasible, and base their tea formulations on sound research and knowledge.

The brewing instructions for this tea are very important: "For maximum benefit, medicinal tea must be properly prepared. Pour 8 oz. freshly boiled water over a tea bag in a cup. Cover cup and steep 10-15 minutes. These steps directly influence the amount of beneficial components that will end up in your teacup! Gently squeeze the tea bag to release any remaining extract.
Drink 3 cups daily, one cup before each meal, for up to 2 weeks, then pause a few days before resuming." So, Weightless is a long-brewing pre-prandial tea...if you want it to work properly.

Also note the following cautions: "Cautions: Tea containing bitter fennel fruit and uva ursi leaf are not for long-term daily use without medical advice. Contraindications: Not for use during pregnancy, while nursing, or by children under 12 years. Side Effects: Teas containing uva ursi leaf may cause nausea or vomiting in individuals and children with sensitive stomachs."

A while back, Celestial Seasonings discontinued my favorite tea, Strawberry Kiwi. Since I drink mostly Celestial Seasonings iced herbal teas (which I make with stevia since I'm diabetic and holistic) I didn't know what to do but I found two flavors that work very well together -- True Blueberry and Moroccan Pomegranate Red. I used two bags of each, sweetened to taste, in each half gallon of water.

Dry Desert Lime is an unusual premium Numi tea. In fact, I have never heard of anyone else making this tea. I enjoy serving it to company, but even more, just for me.

It's got a great cherry taste to it that is not overpowering with just a hint of berry flavor thrown in for good measure. Let it steep about three minutes and you're bound to enjoy it as much as I do!

Each bag contains all-natural ingredients; and there are no artificial ingredients. The stringless tea bags can easily be removed from your cup whenever you want just by using a spoon or anything similar to get them out of the cup. Stir the tea bag around and up and down a bit while it's in your cup before you drink it.

The tea is also caffeine free, which is a plus for those of us who don't want caffeine in our diets. That is something I always prefer.

If you like a cherry flavored tea with a slight berry twist to it, I highly recommend this tea! Enjoy!

Grown in South Africa's Cederburg Mountains and harvested during the summer, this tea acquires its unique red color as a result of fermentation (in mounds) and oxidization, when it is spread out to dry in the sunlight; naturally it is green.

Rooibos is known for its health benefits stemming from its rich content in vitamins, antioxidants, flavanoids and minerals (inter alia, magnesium, calcium, iron, copper, zinc, potassium, fluoride, manganese and alpha-hydroxy) and has a long tradition of medicinal use among the local Native population; among other things, it is known to help cure asthma, hay fever and other allergies, acne, eczema, colics, indigestion, insomnia, and nervous tension. Containing very few tannins and no caffeine, rooibos has a distinctive aroma and amber color.

This tea blends well with various spices and condiments; my favorite mixture is a delicious loose leaf blend sold by my local tea store, which features orange peel, cinnamon, grated coconut, finely minced chili and red pepper. For a more commercial alternative, though, Tazo's Red Bush tea is a great choice as well: a rich, exquisite blend of rooibos, hibiscus, orange peel, rosemary, several lemon ingredients (lemon myrtle, verbena and balm), as well as a number of sweet spices. Among Tazo's many blends is Passion, a bold and flavorful mixture of hibiscus flowers, other tropical flavors, citric acid, orange peel, licorice root, cinnamon bark, rose hips, lemongrass, and red poppy. Brew it up, and you are rewarded with a bright red infusion, that has a tart and exciting taste.

Now, this tea is definitely not for everyone. As you can tell from the ingredients, this tea is strong and decidedly on the tart side. When drunk hot, you probably will want to sweeten it with honey or moderate it with milk, or possibly both. But, when made into an iced tea, Passion really comes into its own - decidedly refreshing and thirst-quenching. Just what you need for a hot summer day!

So, overall I would say that this is a pretty darn good hot tea, and a great iced tea. Buy some today!
