After five years, he returned to Britain, and opened grocery store that soon blossomed into a whole chain. Among the many unique products that Lipton carried were teas that he has specially acquired, and which soon became famous in their own rights. In 1954, Lipton introduced the world's first tea bag, which is still associated with Lipton after all these years.

This great tea is a combination of healthy green tea, and three wonderful flavors - orange, passionfruit and jasmine. Together they make a great tasting drink that is smooth and fruity. And, while it tastes very good when hot, it tastes even better iced!

Yes, Lipton teas do have a reputation for being boring, mass-produced fare, the sort of tea that your grandmother drank. But, in fact this is a wonderful tasting tea that tastes great both hot and iced. If you are looking for a green tea to add to your diet, then I would highly recommend that you pick this one.

Unlike a typical "tea" this is more of a granulated drink, tasting similar to apple juice or cider.I love to put a couple tablespoons in a cup of hot water to soothe a cold, stomach upset, sore throat... (I think it's the vitamin C)or just to warm up on a chilly day.

(More customer reviews)I personally enjoy this tea, but it is obvious that the pyramid series of teas finds many different tastebuds. My favorites are the white teas (blueberry/pomegranate and this one). I also like the green/mandarin/orange. Do yourself a favor and try a single box before ordering six boxes (even though the bulk order is a good deal). Once you have discovered your favorites, you can savor the tea and the money saved.

(More customer reviews)I drank Lipton's regular black tea for years before all these gourmet tea happened and looks like Lipton's has finally come to the gourmet tea party.

I bought this mainly to see how the pyramid tea bags performed, and they performed great. The problem with flat tea bags is that it's difficult for the tea leaves to infuse freely due to the constraints of the shape, but these pyramid bags work great! Only problem is that each pyramid is not individually wrapped, therefore you must put them in a tight container to prevent leakage of flavor or drink all 20 bags quickly.

As to the tea, it's advertised mainly as Bavarian wild berry flavor, and there is a lot of that, but actually you can taste a lot of hips flavor as well. Not surprising since the ingredients also contain rosehips, chicory root, cinnamon bark and licorice root. Just to let you know that it's not all berry flavor.

All in all, I like this a lot and would buy it again.

I love to keep a wide selection of good teas on hand.I drink green tea in the morning, and oolong later in the workday (or sometime rooibus).Later in the evening, I often like a nice fruit tea.I don't generally eat desserts.Something like this is my dessert, like right now, as I write this review.This tastes like a nice berry blend, very smooth.

The tea bags are individually seal-wrapped, to help protect the flavour until you are ready to drink them.The envelope claims the ingredients are a balance of strawberry, cherry, raspberry and redcurrant pieces. This is NOT a spice tea.

May I suggest you sweeten with honey, agave nectar (health food isles of store), or unbleached natural sugar (sugar isle of store), if you plan to use a sweetener.

Anyone who likes fruit flavored tea should try this.I have introduced this tea to several of the people I work with and when I go my order I had to had out some of the boxes.They quit selling it locally and I am going to stock up while I can.
