(More customer reviews)This sparkling juice really holds up to the description.It has the perfect amount of carbonation (not too much, not too little), is crisp to the taste, and is very refreshing.The 8 oz. cans sounded pretty weak, but it turns out that one can is the perfect amount for a sitting.

Since first tasting Martinelli's sparkling apple cider at a New Year's celebration over a decade ago, I've been a huge fan of carbonated apple drinks, but none have been "just right."Naturally, I've tasted the types that I've come across over the years, including: Martinelli's sparking cider (which is kind of sweet tasting and not generally bottled for everyday consumption), Martinelli's sparkling apple juice (a bit under-carbonated), Apple Beer (non-alcoholic, good but has a slightly odd taste), Appletiser (UK only, good, but UK only), and a few other local organic brands.

All of the aforementioned beverages are good on occasion, but seriously... none compare to essn's Sparkling Fuji Apple Juice.Yeah, it is a little pricey, but its worth it!

(More customer reviews)I first tasted this product in June in Tacoma, Washington.It wasn't readily available near my home so I ordered from Amazon.It is refreshing change from soda and tea.I didn't give it a five because, as do most canned beverages, I find there to be a metallic aftertaste which is sometimes disconcerting.It doesn't happen all the time, and not enough to discourage one from partaking, but enough to mention.

I have now found the product in a local grocery.

(More customer reviews)The Switch has come out with a wide variety of flavors for their refreshing all natural fruit drink, but the Watermelon Strawberry has to be by far the best. While the Switch juice drinks are good, some of the flavors can be a bit too sweet, despite the complete lack of artificial sweeteners in their product. The combination of Watermelon and Strawberry, however, manages to cut the sweetness with the fresh watermelon flavor. I would recommend most of the Switch juice flavors, but the Watermelon Strawberry would be my first choice every time.

And I tasted it, and it was Good! Frankly, I found Black Cherry, Kiwi Berry, and Watermelon Strawberry pretty similar in taste, Orange Tangerine more distinctly tart, but I enjoyed all of them.

In the cans you have 5 other flavor choices: The Switch Fruit Punch, 8.3 Ounce Cans (Pack of 24), The Switch Grape, 8.3 Ounce Cans (Pack of 24), The Switch Kiwi Berry, 8.3 Ounce Cans (Pack of 24), The Switch Orange Tangerine, 8.3 Ounce Cans (Pack of 24), and The Switch Watermelon Strawberry, 8.3 Ounce Cans (Pack of 24).

Since virtually nothing is added, the slight nutritional differences must be due to the characteristics of the different juices being used. Fruit Punch, Orange Tangerine, and Watermelon Strawberry have the highest calories, 140; Kiwi Berry is next, 135; Black Cherry is next, 130; and Grape has the lowest, 125.Orange Tangerine and Watermelon Strawberry have the highest total carbohydrates, 36g; Black Cherry and Fruit Punch are next, 35g; Kiwi Berry is next, 34g; and Grape has the lowest, 33g. (More customer reviews)Since my teenagers really liked the The Switch Orange Tangerine, 8.3 Ounce Cans (Pack of 24), and the The Switch Black Cherry, 8.3 Ounce Cans (Pack of 24), we thought we would try the Grape Flavor.We were disappointed. Although still drinkable, it is just not the equal of other flavors of Switch.

The positive is that the beverage is all-natural, and packaged in the smaller-than-regular-12-ounce soda cans. It also has less carbonation than regular grape soda, which is a nice change. But the negative is that the Grape flavor cannot hold a candle to the the two other flavors we have enjoyed.It is on the sour side and leaves a slight unpleasant aftertaste.Not at all the satisfying, smooth and true fruit taste of the other two Switch flavors which we have tried.

I cannot recommend this flavor, although I still like the brand and plan to sample some other flavors.I would definitely order the Tangerine/Orange and the Black Cherry again.

(More customer reviews)The Switch Orange Tangerine soda is an attempt to made a fruit soda with real fruit juice, real fruit flavor, and no added sugar.They have mostly succeeded.In the glass, the Switch looks like juice.It is lightly but distinctly carbonated and easy to drink.The orange and tangerine flavors are true - none of the "burn" of fake orange flavor.The hit of tangerine is really nice and I greatly enjoyed the flavor.My problem with the Switch was that it was too sweet for my taste.I was surprised at the how sweet it was given the advertised "no added sugar".The ingredient list mentions grape and apple juice concentrates.That's how they get the sugars in without adding sugar.Fruit juice concentrates are loaded with natural fruit sugars.The nutritional label tells the story:the 8.3 oz can has 34 grams of sugar!That's more than Cocoa Cola (27 grams per 8 oz).Bottom line - this is just too sweet for me.It's too bad because the flavors are awesome.If you have a sweet tooth, maybe this is for you.

(More customer reviews)For some reason, plain old fizzy water is very hard to find, at least for me. Our local QFC had it, but they just closed. Safeway used to have it, but now they only carry the flavored varieties. I could get the snooty variety that comes in a green bottle, but I can't justify the price. It is only water for crying out loud! Everyone just told me to get club soda, but that has way too much carbonation to use as a drink. Club soda is meant to be mixed with other non-carbonated drinks. So I found this on Amazon and could not be happier. Talking rain is one of the better brands. The price is right and it tastes great. Thank you Amazon!

(More customer reviews)I first tried this when the local Costco (briefly) carried it-- I was skeptical that any sparkling water without a sweetener would be tasty enough to warrant the price or that the less-than-12oz can would be sufficient to satisfy.I was wrong on both counts-- the flavor rivals that of Sprite but has no corn syrup or aspartame or any other sweetener, plus the size is just right for a meal or late-night treat.

Unfortunately, when I went back to Costco for more, I was told it was a temporary item and they didn't have any left.

Kudos to Amazon for carrying this (and for making it available via subscription).
