(More customer reviews)These have a great gummy texture that is soft and easy to chew but doesn't get pasty in your mouth or stick like glue to your teeth like some gummies. The flavor is sort of like a floral grapefruit (think grapefruit candy scented with earl grey tea).

Be aware, the candy is very fragrant and even though each piece is individually sealed, once you open the outer bag, the room will you store them in will fill with a sweet candy smell.

(More customer reviews)hi-chew yogurt flavor is the best!however, order from amazon, don't order from asian food grocer.i ordered yogurt hi-chew.they shipped me grape hi-chew.i clicked on yogurt on their site but somehow it got entered in their system as grape.asian food grocer people are not very nice to say the very least.they won't acknowledge that their system made an error.i have never even tasted grape hi-chew.why would i order grape flavor when yogurt flavor is so good?please order from amazon not from asian food grocer.

(More customer reviews)I love to have sushi and have had some of the plum wine on oranges and sour plum and cucumber rolls and wanted to capture that feeling.This candy was exactly what I wanted.It is so light and subtle and does have a nice honey taste as well.The bag was practically a work of art I did not want to open it kind of a rice paper look. I am not someone who likes super sweet candy and this was perfect.It is a plum alcohol and not a plum fruity flavor.I think I will give it as a gift sometime to an adult.It is that elegant. This product is different from Hirano Honey Ume Liqueur Candy in that this one has more of an alcohol liquer flavor.If you do not want that you might try Hirano Honey Ume Liqueur Candy for a much simplier taste.Personally I think both are great just different.I am glad I tried them both.

(More customer reviews)I got hooked on these in Hong Kong where my American candy choices were Starburst and Skittles, both sugar rushes of the extreme sort.This candy is not as sweet as those, but a bit sweeter than most Asian candy (many of my Chinese friends find it too sweet for their taste, but many of my American friends say it is not sweet enough).I kind of like the middle ground, trying to cut back on my sugars.

(More customer reviews)Seeing as this is a food product, I can't explain to anyone how it tastes. Obviously you, yourself would have to go out and purchase this in order to have the pleasure. That being said: I must stress of how tastey this milk candy is. They come in a nice fairly transluecent bag with around 20-30 pieces stuffed inside. I didn't bother taking the time to count due to my unquenchable hunger and eargerness to taste the morsel. As I have said, I can't tell you how it tasted because it was so heavenly good that it is hard to portray an image. Creamy would be very accurate yet sentuous would also be a good description. Just order a bag and you will be glad you did, but be careful: this product can be quite addicting!

(More customer reviews)I can't stress how much this really tastes like melon (either cantaloupe or honeydew, they're both similar, but recently I've eaten lots of honeydew, so that's what this stuff tastes like to me;however, it could pass for cantaloupe, too).It's so amazing that if I were to eat only one candy for the rest of my life, this would be it.Mango used to be my favorite but this one just surpasses mango by more than a mile in terms of accuracy and pleasant aftertaste.In fact, I just ate the last one out of a pack (and belched melon, LOL) and am about to crack open the next pack....

(More customer reviews)I love this candy! It has a pleasant, mildly sweet (rice flour) taste and the texture is similar to a powdered, soft gummy bear. The melon flavor is mild and sweet (not sour). This candy may be an acquired taste for someone who is accostumed to mainstream, super-sweet American candy. The texture may take some getting used to and the taste of rice flour may not appeal to some. All that said, I've been trying to find this candy for several years but because I didn't know the name of it, I've been making-do with my memories. Now that I've found a merchant, I plan on buying a stockpile.

Daifuku is a Japanese confection consisting of a small round mochi (glutinous rice cake) stuffed with sweet filling, most commonly anko, sweetened red bean paste made from azuki beans. Daifuku comes in many varieties. The most common is white, pale green or pale pink colored mochi filled with anko. These come in two sizes, one approximately the diameter of a half-dollar coin, the other palm-sized. Some versions contain whole pieces of fruit, mixtures of fruit and anko or crushed melon paste.
