(More customer reviews)I'm a granola bar fan, and I tried these recently and really like them.Had one for breakfast about five minutes ago, as a matter of fact.I can imagine a better granola bar, but it's pretty dang good.If you're like me, you like to pack a variety of bars for camping/hiking/road trips so as to not fall victim to monotonous granola.These are definitely a good addition to your bar repertoire.

(More customer reviews)I really enjoy the flavor and texture of these candybars, but don't be fooled by the natural look of the product and packaging. These are all "treat" and no "snack". Nature Valley is blurring the lines between the once distinct categories of granola bars and candy bars. This product certainly falls into the latter category, but appears to be marketing itself into the first.

Ingredients include a host of flavor enhancers and sweeteners that "healthy snack bar" types might be trying to avoid.

We have 22g Carbs, 7g Fat, 3g Protien and 170mg of Sodium
"Glycemic Spike" and "Water Retention" come to mind...

Check out these ingredients:

High Maltose Corn Syrup is the second ingredient, sugar is the 4th, High fructose corn syrup is the 5th. Also in there is wheat flakes, fructose, honey, milk products and soy lecithin. As for the good stuff, we have almonds as the first ingredient, rolled oats as the third, crisp rice as the 6th. There are other ingredients as well, surely listed in the product description here on Amazon.

One peave regarding the product packaging which states that the bar is "dipped in almond butter coating". Well, I eat almond butter (instead of peanut butter). The "coating" they refer to is more of a white "sugary milk product coating" with a little almond mixed in. It is nothing like "almond butter".

Overall, this bar packs the salty sweet flavor punch it boasts and the texture is fun. Just beware (or be aware) of all those "other" ingredients when you buy.

(More customer reviews)While trying to diet, I never used to eat PB because even if I wanted to give up a bunch of calories, measuring and scooping out two Tbsp of "natural" PB was too messy (think Adam's... ugh).However, with Justin's PB packets being a set serving amount for 190 calories, I can squeeze it out easily (after kneading the packet to mix up the oil that naturally separates).I put it on Lundberg Rice Cakes, rub the rice cakes face-to-face to spread the PB around, and voila- not even a knife that needs to be washed. I like the taste and texture of this PB, and the convenience is great- Probably less waste than if I was scooping it out of a jar.Since I only eat these 2-3 times/week, the cost is very reasonable.Yay Justin's.
