(More customer reviews)Im skeptical on the whole acai berry weight loss issue. However, i do have to agree that it makes me have more energy and feel less bloated... thus lessening my belly area. I drink about 10 oz a day in place of coffee or a soda and then water the remainder of the day. My stomach always feels smaller and like i said, no bloat going on when i drink this stuff. And im normally a very bloated person lol. So, Granted it has a bit higher calories.. i do like it, and recommend it for the overall feeling i get. Plus if you are going to have a caloric drink.. why not drink one that is healthy for you... and has a few good side effects.

The Acai and guarana of course mostly comes from Brazil although the packaging is done in the US.I saw this product being used in a national chain of health fruit drinks store and was very happy to see if on Amazon at such a great price, matching the price of bitter and acidic orange juices in the supermarket. When you consider that you put equal amounts of ice to make a smoothie then you double the volume(i.e 92 oz). At about $5.00 per container with the automatic delivery that is a great deal (OJ would bite almost 3 times that for the same volume).I got 2 packs of 6 to start. Received one today and already got the whole family to fall in love with this health way to start and end a day.
Add banana and cereal flakes and you get what is sold for $7.00 per small bowl in those national chains.Considering that ACAI is the latest healthy fruit you can't go wrong.I also find that after a healthy smoothie of this fruit you don't feel as much hungry and end up eating less and potentially loosing weight. At least that's what they say in Rio where Acai fruit is consumed a lot.

(More customer reviews)I recently purchased a couple of cases of this when Amazon had it on sale.I'd never tried it before, but since it's healthy, I thought I'd give it a whirl and pawn it off on somebody else if I didn't like it.When I opened my first bottle, I thought it had a really strange, fermented taste and smell -- yes, sadly, I tried a sip of it -- and had a lot of thick, gooey pulp.

I contacted the manufacturer @ (415) 775-6355 and asked them if this was normal.Apparently, they had a bad batch with their old manufacturing plant where the bottles were not being sealed properly and have since spoiled.She asked me some questions about the bottle, got some order numbers and cap numbers from me, and they are sending me out some replacement cases.They were very friendly, apologetic and helpful.So if you get some from Amazon and the taste seems to be off, I'd encourage you to call them and let them rectify the situation for you.

(More customer reviews)I was really looking forward to this product. I love all berries. I bought it to flavor Kefir (yogurt drink). I've tried it that way and also with crushed ice as the bottle reccomends. Niether I nor my two kids liked either one.
Also, I should have read the ingredients closely before I purchased it. It's more sugar than berries.
Amazon as always did a great job with the shipping of the order.

The ORAC value is what most people are looking for in an Acai product.It doesn't blend too well with liquid.I won't be buying this product again.The shipping was fast and I would recommend the seller, just not the product.
