It may cost a little bit more than Kellogg's Corn Flakes but it contains no artificial ingredients or preservatives while Kellogg's puts BHT in many of their products as a preservative. Many people don't realize what BHT is, or phenylalanine (the artificial sugar in diet soda) for that matter.
BHT- Butylated hydroxytoluene, is a lipophilic (fat-soluble) organic compound that is primarily used as an antioxidant food additive (E number E321) as well as in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, jet fuels, rubber, petroleum products, and embalming fluid.
This substance has been linked with cancer and increased hyperactivity in children.
