(More customer reviews)Let me say that my favorite candy growing up was jellied orange slices. My mother is a diabetic and I am always on the lookout for sugar free candy she might like. I ordered these thinking they would be a sugar free version of those good old fruit slices. NOT SO MUCH. While the candy comes in several different colors we can discern no fruit flavor at all. The candy is apparently "sanded" with some kind of citric (or other) acid that makes them very sour. While they are pretty much useless to us as candy, my mom keeps a bowl of them in her room to use as a laxative. Whenever she's a little irregular, she eats a handful of these and the problem's solved in short order.
