(More customer reviews)By far the saltiest dry plums I have ever had. I've had plenty of salted dry plums and like them to snack on. but these I cant even keep in my mouth or anything. Maybe use them for cooking or something but I threw out the bags I bought.

(More customer reviews)We picked up a large bag of Kirkland Signature Pitted Dried Plums while roaming the isles of our local warehouse club store. It was one of those impulse items, but it would be useful to have around the house as snacks and I could pack them with the lunches I take to work. The plums were a big surprise. They were excellent! Outstanding! I expected something more like prunes, but these were soft, moist and delicious. The large bag disappeared in no time at all.

(More customer reviews)I grew up with these. They're a total chewy, sweet and salty addiction. You might find yourself eating half a dozen in a row. There's a large seed inside you chew around and spit out. Sometimes you get a pack that's nice and juicy and fresh, sometimes they're a bit hard and small and dried out, depending how long they've been off the boat I suspect, but still pretty good - they vary just like dried fruit varies. I also like the other varieties you can get, preserved lemon peel etc. Sold at most Chinatown type shops.

(More customer reviews)These 6 oz packs of organic California prunes have more flavor than the non-organic brands. They are also drier and firmer, which I wasn't sure I liked at first. I quickly grew used to it and now I prefer them this way. They are sweet and chewy.

The freshness date is 16 months in the future, so these would make a good addition to any emergency preparedness stock one might have.

You can't go wrong at this price for 12 bags. This is one brand you can trust

Update 10/31/10I bought some more of the prunes recently and they are not dry and firm anymore. Now they seem like they've been steamed because they are very moist and the inside of the bag has prune gunk stuck to the sides. If you stick your hand in the bag, it will come out pruned, so I use a fork.They taste fine, but I was a little taken aback when I first opened them.
