(More customer reviews)I was lucky enough to visit Oak Alley last Spring.I enjoyed a lemon mint julep.I tried for the better part of a yeat to duplicate the taste.It was impossible without the syrup.Most mint syrups taste like mouth wash, very overpowering.This syrup is light and sweet, the perfect compliment to the lemon and the bourbon.Absolutely delicious!Kentucky Derby this weekend and I have the drinks covered!

Oak Alley Mint Syrup Perfect to add to your iced tea, or a refreshing Mint Julep.Ingredients: Simple syrup, bourbon, mint leaves Simple Syrup: 2 cups mint leaves, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup waterPlace water sugar and slightly crushed mint leaves in a pot.Heat until sugar dissolves. Strain.Pour 1 oz. of this mixture (simple syrup) in a zombie glass or silver goblet.Fill with crushed ice, stir until ice dissolves some, add crushed ice and bourbon to top of glass.Stir until frosty.Garnish with a sprig of mint and serve
