This item is perfect for a tea that prevents heartburn. Here is the recipe if you would like to try it.
Combine 8 cups of water, 3 cinnamon sticks, and 1/2 cup thinly sliced ginger and simmer for 1/2 hour. Strain and keep the liquid and stir in 1 1/2 cups of raw sugar and 1 cup of these sliced persimmons.Keep refrigerated. Drink 2 oz. in the morning and 2 oz at night. Adjust the intake to fit your needs.
