(More customer reviews)These nectarines are unsulphured and so they are a little more chewy that the sulphured ones, but that's how I like them!They are so full of flavor my mouth waters just thinking about them.They taste just as wonderful as a fresh tree picked nectarine only they have that wonderful chewy texture of dried fruit!My whole family (even the picky eaters) LOVE them!

(More customer reviews)Like the previous reviewer, I also purchased these snack bars because they don't contain the usual bugaboos: high-fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated oils, artificial sweeteners, etc. However, they're mighty hard to chew. And that's *probably* a good thing.

I'm a hardcore fan of Quaker Oats granola bars, because they're a quick snack and they're heavy-laden with sugar, but they also have the HFCS (bad, bad) and hydrogenated oils (bad, bad, BAD). However, they are easy to chew. I am striving to slowly back away from the QO granola bars because of their unhealthy and lengthy ingredient list.

The Kashi brand snacks are agreeable to the palate and they do have enough sugar for my personal tastes, but I have a couple crowns and I wonder if my over-priced prosthetic teeth can survive this healthy eating experience.

That being said, these are the snacks of choice for long car trips. For one, I'll never pig out on them and two, they're good for the tummy. They provide a little energy boost and they're high octane fuel for this four-layer bio-suit we call a human body.

Izze offers some unusual flavors to suit a variety of tastes, and their Sparkling Pomegranate is one of the best fruit sodas I've tasted. Pomegranate juice is sometimes described as "slightly sweet, slightly tart", but I always found the pure juice too strong. This soda is perfect, though. The sparkling water dilutes the pomegranate flavor just enough to leave its essence without curling your tongue. It's delicious. It tastes more like fresh pomegranate fruit than pomegranate juice, which is too concentrated. And it's lightly carbonated for extra refreshment. If you like a fruit soda that is flavorful but not very sweet, Izze Sparkling Pomegranate fits the bill perfectly. And it contains no artificial ingredients or caffeine. No sugar added. It's sweetened with fruit juice concentrate. 12 fl.oz. glass bottles.

(More customer reviews)IMO, Pop-Tarts are not the most nourishing food, but they're convenient for when everyone is running late ... for school, work, or appointments.

The kids like them because they're easy to pop into the toaster or microwave and they taste good--anything that's sweet, you know! Most kids I know seem to prefer the strawberry and chocolate-flavored Pops, but blueberry is my favorite. Clarification: I like them, but do not love them; much too sweet for my taste-buds, but still ... when in a hurry, they come in handy.

I also like them because they have a long shelf life and are quick and easy to prepare. If you have very young children, either heat the Pop-Tarts yourself or supervise the kids as they pop them into the appliance of your choice. Don't want those little fingers getting burned!

Kids learn fast, and all they have to do is remove the Pop-Tarts from the pouch and pop them into the toasting appliance or microwave. Be sure to let the Pop-Tarts cool briefly because the filling can get very hot. When using the microwave, use a microwave-safe plate.

And that's all there is to it!

Like I said, not the most nourishing food--although they contain some healthy ingredients--but it's quick energy and great for rush hours. We all have plenty of those.
